Last night I met up with a friend after work and we hop on over to Bunny Chow. It’s a fairly new, South African inspired, burger joint in Wardour Street. The menus are placed above the tills with a simple selection to choose from. We both went for the Durban Bunny in a brioche bun and a coriander salad. And on the side we shared billtong and meatballs. The Durban Bunny has a slight kick to it with the red chillies, but wasn’t too spicy…luckily. I’m not a huge fan of really spicy food. To drink I had a Madiba, which was essentially grapefruit, vanilla, lime & elderflower. But I added a cheeky gin shot and turned it into a cocktail, oolala.
Cheap and cheerful at only £5 a burger, I will definitely be back here again, and hopefully introducing a few other people to the scene 🙂
