For New Years Eve this year we decided to head down to Dorset and spend the extended bank holiday by the coast. England has some absolutely stunning places to see and I know my New Years resolution this year is to get out and explore everything it has to offer. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is in real life, so I’ve decided to show you a few of my favourite photos I took over the 3 days we were there. Hopefully this inspires you go down if you’re ever in this part of the country.
Believe it or not, my photos do it no justice. The thatched roofed cottages were just adorable and the villages are utterly charming, I could’ve added so many photos of the places we passed!
We stayed in an Airbnb down in the picturesque village of Winfrith Newburgh, a 10 minute drive from the coast (only £30 a night for 2 nights with a code for £25 off as we’d never used it before. Here’s my code if you’ve never signed up before…*CODE*). Only tiny but it had everything we needed as we used it as a base to travel down to Lulworth, Corfe, Kingston, Worth Matravers and Shaftesbury (above photos). I would recommend hiring a car as everything is fairly spaced apart but not too far when you’re driving. If you want any recommendations, just drop a little comment and I’ll get back to you 🙂
Hope you all had a wonderful New Years!
